The size of the marquee we would recommend is generally determined by the number of guests at the event. For seated rows we recommend 6 square feet per person, for a finger buffet we recommend 7 square feet per person and a for a formal seated function, we recommend 13 square feet per person. In addition you will need space for dance floor, staging, bar and food serving areas etc.
Yes, we can arrange a without obligation free site visit at your convenience, to discuss your requirements.
The cost of a marquee is dependent on a number of factors such as size, lining flooring, lighting etc. Please call for a quotation and/or a site visit.
No. All our quotations are fully itemised, and will include all possible extras including insurance or delivery charges if applicable.
A 20% booking deposit is required to secure your marquee, the balance of the payment is to be made on delivery.
What is the difference between lined and unlined marquees?
Marquee linings provide a more luxurious finish to a marquee for more formal events. Colour can be added to the marquee in the way of drapes and swags to match your specific colour scheme. With unlined marquees, the walls and marquee frames are visible, making them better suited for more casual or functional events
Can marquees be opened in warm weather?
Yes. The walls of our marquees can be easily opened and secured to suit your requirements.
If the grass or ground that the marquee is on is flat enough, for a informal garden party you can do without anything. Alternatively you can use simple matting. For a more formal occasion then we would suggest using a wooden boarded floor which can be carpeted in a choice of colours to match your functions theme.
Can you provide furniture, toilets, linen and other items?
Yes, we can offer a full package of items to meet all your requirements: furniture, toilets, linen
Can we put up a marquee in our garden?
Yes. We have a many different sized marquees which can be erected in most gardens. Please arrange a site visit to see what is best for you.
Will a marquee damage our garden?
Grass that has been covered for several days will temporarily discolour, but should recover within 7 days.
When will you erect my marquee?
Dependant of the time of year, for weekend functions, we erect our marquees on the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday ; and take them down on the following Monday or Tuesday . Please let us know if you have any special requirements.
